The second landslide in the area closed down the road linking Georgia with Russia and affected the Lars Customs Service. Gas transit from Russia to Armenia via Georgia was also suspended.

Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili fired five ministers and moved two others into other duties. Gharibashvili stressed that the changes were created after Georgia’s signing of the Association Agreement (AA) with EU.
