The Asian Development Bank is one of Georgia’s major multilateral development partners. The ADB’s ongoing sovereign portfolio in the country includes 17 loans worth USD 1.75 billion.1 The lion’s share of this funding, nearly USD 1 billion, has been allotted to the advancement of two road infrastructure ventures: the East–West Highway Improvement Project and the North–South Corridor Road Project.
